Here’s a great new video from Trevor Dickson’s new album, ‘Passion Fruits’. He came by Spleenless Mastering to master it in September and we had a lot of fun working on this finely orchestrated and upbeat record.
‘Nebraska’ by Alexander Payne out on Nov 15th

Two New Records from Ben Goldberg
Ben Goldberg released two new records mastered here at Spleenless Mastering, “Unfold Ordinary Mind,” with a quintet including the guitarist Nels Cline and two tenor saxophonists, Ellery Eskelin and Rob Sudduth; and “Subatomic Particle Homesick Blues,” including the tenor saxophonist Joshua Redman, the trumpeter Ron Miles and the bassist Devin Hoff. All of our mastered records carry the ‘Mastered for iTunes’ stamp of approval. This is true. But what it means is that our records can be sold in two formats and at two price levels. We deliver records at the normal MP3 quality (16bit), and also in iTunes loss-less format (24bit).
New ‘Tin Hat’ record out now
Earlier this summer I finished mastering the new Tin Hat record, the rain is a handsome animal (New Amsterdam Records). It’s 17 songs from the poetry of ee cummings. Cory Arcangel at the Whitney Museum
Cory Arcangel has a solo show at the Whitney Museum in New York. The show is called “Pro Tools”, a well played title. I’ve worked on several of Cory’s Projects over the years.
